Fuel Tank Range??? Hi People I have just found your site :D and I have just traded my S4 Challange in for a 996BP  So I would like know what sort of fuel range I can expect? i.e untill light comes on and how much once light is on?? My bike is box standard. Any help much appreaited. Cheers Mike996 |
.....and the size of the dents you\'ve got in your tank!!! :frog::frog: |
 No dents yet :D and if I would ever break the speed limit  Cheers Mike996 |
996 Bip - General road riding approx 115-120 miles to fuel light. Never tempt going beyond a further 20 miles after that on reserve. Usually fill up at next station after 100 miles on the trip. |
weeksy:  I hope I do not ride like a girl:o (No offence Ladies) Thanks paulk but I have just had the light come on at 78 miles!!!!!!!!!! :o Cheers Mike996 |
Weeksy, When have you ever seen 100 miles from a fill up..??? Based on your antics this year we doubt you ever put more than 4 quid in at each petrol station visit .... Do you ever run out in the van ..??? I manage 3 donuts a ride out if that helps .?? they are a great aid to keeping the front wheel down ....!!! |
On my 996bip I get about 100-110 miles on a good day and 80-90 on a bad, or is it 80-90 on a good and 100-110 on a bad. |
Weeksy.... .....never runs out of petrol in the van, he just keeps it topped up with diesel!!! Tim:frog: |
Spirited road riding :ninja: I regularly get 120 miles to reserve light and that's with a 14T on the front. Conservative estimation of remaining fuel (3-4litres) means I must fill up within 20 miles. No problemo:o |

Is it standard gearing? If not that could effect it. Or are you just mullering it everywhere? |
