A Question for 999r owners.... can any 999r owners out there please answer a Q for me ??? I need to know if the fairing panels on the r have integral moulded side pods or are they separate as on the s ??? any help very much appreciated !! Dave:) |
Not (yet) an owner mate, but having looked really closely at one, well stared really, i think they are seperate as per all other derivatives. |
Dave, I'd like to answer that one for you but unfortunately I can't go out and check mine as it's at OYB awaiting its first service and the arrival of a full 57mm Termi system from Ducati. In the time I've had it I've had the fairings off once but didn't really look at the side pods. I think they are bolted on from the inside (which would make them removable) but can't be sure to be honest. I know you can buy carbon replacements for the 999S but its all carbon on the R. I should get it back next week & I'll let you know. |
Hi Everton. Is your 999r a 2003 model? If so, what did it come with from new? Oh just for your info theres a 57mm titanium system for sale at Riverside Npton.... think its around £2800 gulp. |
Andy, It is a 2003 bike which I bought in September.......I've U2Ued you with some more details. |
