748 injector upgrades??
 

Hello peeps,

I am just wondering if there are any benefits of upgrading the injector system on my 748 Bip? Perhaps to the 916. If they are different.

Thing is, the bike is now a 853 with slight mods to the heads, blueprinted top end, dialed in cams and a fuel chip from FIM.

I am thinking of obtaining information from Sigma. The chaps who did my engine. I just wondered if anyone here has done it?

Go for a 748R airbox and shower injectors! :D

Since you mentioned Sigma, I expect you'd be in good hands. Neil Spalding can probably advise you better than just about everyone on this board.

In general, to get more power, you need bigger diameter throttle bodies. Whether you need one or two injectors depends on the how much fuel you can dump in the time between strokes at max RPM. I doubt, you'll run out of fuel on an 853. Neil will know, ask him.
