Ducati Mathesis ! Whats involved in setting the C02 on my 998 , its taking me over a week to get my dealer to arrange to do this Is it poss to obtain/buy a Mathesis (Ducati or other make ) to do it my self ??? |
The mathesis is only half of the story I'm afraid. You'll also need a CO analyser to measure the exhaust gases. Technically you can only buy a Mathesis once you are an appointed Ducati dealer and they cost a few grand to boot. You can buy some software, there's been a showing on Ebay lately that will enable you to tweak the mixture, but again you'll still need an exhaust analyser. |
This is what I'm thinking about getting, to help look after my bikes http://www.ferracci.com/2002ferracci...MDST_palm.html |
Bet thats more than my dealer has !:( |
I can see me spending the money, www.evoluzione.com do the single bike one for $199 dollars and will happily ship worldwide and I can pay by either Paypal or Visa www.ca-cycleworks.com also do them Cn be used for fuel trimming on bike with the 5.9 and 1.5 ECUs http://www.technoresearch.com/Dashboard.htm http://www.technoresearch.com/PDA_MDST.htm http://www.technoresearch.com/ check out the download page [Edited on 19-2-2004 by skidlids] |
Skidlids, I've used the TechnoResearch softeware for some time. It's a little difficult to get into, but once you're familiar with it, it does everything it says on the tin. Not all functions/features are available with all ECU's though. They publish frequent revisions to, which are free to download once you have the "dongle" to run the program. It certainly does just about everything my Mathesis does, for day to day chores anyhow. |
