How come things are cheaper in Ireland? Canny Weblink...

I seem to be painting myself as a bit of a websearching-cheapskating-broadbandlovin-wheeler-dealer..........

Oh yeah - I forgot - I am

Anyway - after searching for cheap Oxtar boots (surprise) - I came up with nice little nice that I seem to have seen before somewhere:

The Visor Shop

Mainly visors and helmets (surprise, surprise) but also boots, tyres and other bits all at slightly cheaper prices than the UK and some with free next day delivery.

Anyone had any dealing with em ?????

Cheers

I think they are connected with Crossan motorcycles who in turn are connected with the Dunlops of Ballymoney. Not bought from them but have seen them selling their wares at the TT.

I have been looking for a good price on a pair of Oxtar TCS Evo, you had any luck?

Try this link http://www.cusworths.co.uk/pages/road/boots/oxtar.htm

Hmmmm...yep found the Cusworths link and Doncaster is quite close by.....

I'm still unsure of the differences between the EVO and the EVO replica, apart from money that is - I really fancy the replica but am taken by the idea of the Gortex sport boot. A waterproof sports boot is a great mixture of functions I think.

get my iridium visors from them (visorshop) good prices and if you order in the morning the goods usually arrive the next morning

good stuff

but i wouldn't like to buy boots or helmet over the internet cos you have to try things like that on first to find the best fit

Yep they're a good bunch of guys, use them for Visors for racing and see a fair bit of them at the TT as they sponsor Robert Dunlop.

As the joke goes from the lads in the shop "its called Crossan Racing because the govs just croosan the road from the pub"
