how often should you replace belts on 2002 748r ?
dealer said every year even though they were changed 4000 miles back.
is he right or after few more qid?

The recommended interval is 12k or 2 years.
IMO, I think this is stretching it a bit and prefer to do them once a year or 6k miles regardless.
I see it as a relativeley cheap insurance against failure, as if one goes then the bill could be £1000's.

"You pays ya money and you takes yer chances" as they say.

No idea how Ducati would react if one did go within the specified schedules though??
