Damn eBay UK now actively restrict other country items! 2 Attachment(s) I suspected it might be the case from some browsing I used to do for hard to find classic parts but today I had it confirmed from an owner in Italy who posted a listing to aid a fellow Ducatisti with a lighting issue. Larger image is from eBay Italy, smaller using a generic UK page but its exactly the same on my own UK account. Not nice eBay - just wait until FB Marketplace gets Paypal support.... |
ebay Italy has always been a bit weird. I know that Andy always goes to "ebay.it" and browses from there, as you can still login and buy with your normal/UK account, but as you have found some of the items don't appear in UK searches. Or maybe this is just part of our Brexit plan to leave the EU? :D |
Also, I think that you can restrict your listing to certain locations - ie, no overseas sales, so this may also be why! |
I even tried logging into eBay.com and doing a world-wide search for the item number and still came back with 'no matches'!!! Even funnier - because I then logged directly into ebay.it and looked the item up, the same day, I got a discount offer for the lights to my own ebay.co.uk account  |
