clutch slave cylinder
 
Iv bought one of these and fit and bled ok, But the clutch is slipping.
I made sure the resevoir is not over full and bled it again.......fine to start with then slips again!
so iv put the standard cylinder back on and everything is fine ..first time :(

any ideas or has anyone fitted theirs with out any probs

might be something to do with the length of the push rod. There is a difference for older models.
Where did you get the slave cyl from, and what model is it for?

I got it off ebay and stressed it was for a 999.......I didnt realise the push rods were different :(
If they are this would explain alot

I got mine from Nelly and it seems to work fine :D.

There are two main pushrod lengths. The later type are 10mm longer.
You could prove the cylinder is at fault by packing it out 10mm from the engine case and then trying it??
Not a solution but it'll prove the point.
