Spareshack Billet Number Plate Hanger
 

I recently bought a Spareshack billet number plate hanger to pretty up the back of the 748. Tried fitting it today and found out a few things. Getting thre plastic one off is a right pain. Two of the bolts holding it on are easy to get at but the third is practically inaccesible. Had to take a saw to it to get near it.

Finally bolted on the billet item and found that it blocked the wiring hole, the number plate light won't bolt on, the number plate can't just be swopped over (holes don't align) and the wires on my mini indicators will need to be extended.

I am now thinking about alternative rear indicators. Does anyone know of any different systems? I have seen indicators inside the seat unit and the ones mounted above the exhaust too. Main thing here is to keep the bike legal so plod doesn't get too interested and I don't need to do too much work before MOT time comes around. Any thoughts?

If it really needs that much work I would go back to Stuart at Spareshack and get the indicators foir nothing !
