ST2 dipped/main beam switch

Anyone had a problem with the dipped/main beam switch on a ST2?. Bulb is OK but problem appears to be either the switch or wiring.

It's not usually the switch that's the problem. There's a small relay, yellow if I remember, behind the upper fairing on the left, that plays up.
You can open it up and clean it, but usually replacement is best.

Have you tested the bulb?
Only reason I ask is that I've had a bulb go, but on looking at it, it appeared intact.

I've never used main beam in the 15 months I've had the ST4!!

I need to get out more often.

The DEVIL invented cars - GOD invented Ducati's - that's why us folk are saintly and them 4wheelers are scumbags intent only on our destruction!

By the way I've used mainbeam on my ST4s and I'd have been better off bluetacking a couple of candles up front!!

Have fun all

Spot on, Nelly !. It was indeed the relay, which is being replaced.

Many thanks,

DB
