Legal expenses Silly question, but does anyone ever NOT have the legal expenses on their Insurance quotes? Its only £25 but what does it actually do? |
Never Lane, As a lawyer with a vested interest I can tell you that I never buy it nor do I recommend the product to others. The policy normally provides you with access to lawyers. These will almost certainly be nominated by the insurer and could be anywhere in the country. You'll probably never meet 'em and each time you phone you'll be put through to someone different. They'll do the job, but not necessarily how you'd like it done. I suppose you get what you pay for. They won't touch doubtful claims nor claims under either £1000 if there's an injry or £5000 if there's no injury. I deal with many such dissatified customers. I do have a vested interest so this may be little biased, but I'm open to persuassion. Backmarker |
So, I'd get legal assistance anyway then? |
Yep. As long as you've got a valid dipute/claim, your local solicitor will take the claim on board. Backmarker. |
I always tell the ins co. to stick it, how many lots of legal cover do ya need? It seems to come with everthing you buy. Ray |
