tax disc location
 

thought id share with you a subtle little mount location for your tax disc on the 999.

Got to be better than on the subframe or brake area.

Of course you cannot see it without removing the fairing..... but as long as the vehicles taxed, i wouldnt be pedantic!! :oink:

Sure is nice'n tidy andy, but technical question...... doesn't the disc have to be visible therefore (thinking of parking wardens here!) mounting it behind the fairing would be classed as failing to display a tax disc?
I ask because I got a ticket for that when the disc fell off my screen in the car and therefor wasnt "displayed".

Technically yes, it should be visible, the Offence is failing to display.

If its out of date or in your wallet, even in the glove box in a car its the same.

I never leave my bike anywhere, its either under me or bolted to the wall at home, so that should rule that out.

Personally im more interested in it having current tax, potentially that means insurance etc etc.

Its just so difficult to mount it anywhere visible on the 999, without ruining its looks.....
