clock question?? Does anyone know if its poss to simply plug the 748/9** speedo and rev counter into the 900ssie dash?? Are they the same size, would ya have to calibrate the speedo or use the 748/9** speedo drive??? Any help appreciated. Cheers Steve |
how come the post count on this thread was -3?? how does that work?? lol Any ideas on the clocks, ne-one?? |
I think the speedo's are all the same. All recent Dukes seem to use the same speedo drive on the front wheel up until the 749/999 and Multistrada which use a magnetic sensor on the rear wheel. The rev counters are apparently a bit different. My rev counter died on my ST and I asked Nelly whether the rev counters were interchangeable across the range, cos there were several 748/996 ones on eBay. I was in luck, apparently the ST uses the same rev counter as every Duke aprt from the 900 SSIE so you may be out of luck on this one. |
cheers mate, just my luck with the rev counter. lol I wonder whats so diff from them, and if its poss to change the rev pick up??? Cheers again m8 Think it might be worth dropping a u2u to nelly Tonto |
