Hello chaps,

Is ther any particular place you get your carbon bits from??
there seems to be alot on Ebay, but i'm worried about the qaulity of the stuff?? any shops you recommend?
I want to kick of with a rear hugger, have you all got the one that has the chain guard on it aswell??

The genuine Ducati huggers (short and long) are going for £70 and £100 + postage on Ebay at the mo.

I have a lot of D.P stuff on my duke and personally i think the finish is rubbish!

Here's a thing about huggers. On the 748 (can't comment on the 9**), if you run the stock gearing, the hugger runs *very* close to the tyre. This can result in the tyre wearing a hole in the hugger. Look around at Dukes you see, and this not uncommon. Running a bigger rear sprocket, and a slightly longer chain, moves the tyre well clear of the hugger.

Someone will be along shortly to tell you that this changes the geometry of the bike, and the ride height should be re-set, no doubt...:)

But it's true about the hugger. Just thought it was worth mentioning.

When i fitted the DP hugger to my 748 it rubbed the tyre resulting in a hole..i repaired this and now the same hugger on my 996 is fine with plenty of clearance...:puzzled:

It depends on what tyre you run - I ran 190/50 bt012 and a 190/55 rennsport with no troubles, stuck a 180/55 D208GPa and it wore hole within 200miles :puzzled:

Hi fitted a hugger with chain guard on my 916 no probs here :sing:.Bought mine out of mcn its a DP product looks great.
