998 ECU Connector Query

Hi Folks,

Can anyone help with this one.

2 large multi-pin connectors plug in to the ECU on the 998, one upper and one lower.

The lower connector on mine is cracked, and the rotating bar that secures it in place is damaged.

Question 1. How much of the loom do you have to replace, to replace this connector?
Q.2. Does anyone have the part number for this part of the loom?
Q.3. Does anyone have this part of the loom, which they are prepared to sell? (fingers crossed).
Q. 4. Does anyone know of a 998 Bip being broken for parts?

Thanks for reading. Looking forward to any responses.

Its probably possible to just replace the connector, as mst connectors like these have push in pins with a latching or retaining device.
Senna3 told me several years ago that you cant buy the connectors seperately as they needed to replace some once and looked into it.
In his case it was on Fiat cars as they use the same style ECU on some models, so it could be possiblt to source a Fiat loom to pinch the bits.

When I built my 998Hybrid it took me a while to source the loom.
Several other Ducati models now use the same style ECU so could be a source of connectors, providing you can work out how to extract the pins
