Clutch baskets
 

I took the clutch out at the weekend, including the basket and started to look at putting the replacement in.

Question is - are the baskets interchangable? Reason being, the basket with the Bucci clutch I bought seems a really tight fit to get it over the centre hub, whereas the one that came out fits on dead easy. Also, the slots on my old one are in better condition.

Other than the fact the old basket is steel and heavy, is there any reason why I can't use the old basket?

providing the overall deapth is the same I can't see a reason why you can't use your old one

Is it likely to be different? Changing from a 748R slipper to a Bucci slipper, but if the plates stack the same, the basket would have to be the same depth?
