Snetterton?

who likes Snetterton? Being a bit of a porker... I'm not so keen on super long straits, looks like quite a long drag to the first corner too. weight and aero dynamics will play a massive part in lap times at snetterton. I'm told that its a great circuit for testing because its got everything, breaking for the esses should be good, the bomb hole sounds interesting and the decreasing radius coram curve will be a blast I'm sure , Russells looks tight and involving, BUT compaired to Donnington and Anglesey? a bit dull maybe. how long does it take to complete the revett strait, time for a cuppa? :frog:

it's a great circuit, i love it and it has nothing to do with the fact that it's the easiest circuit to get to for me so i have been there the most often

some find the back straight dull, but not me. i quite like having a nice rest and breathing out before braking :)

the bomb hole and corams are superb :D

the only bit i'm not so keen on is the esses - and that's only because i always get the second bit wrong. always always always

Went Tuesday, Lovely sunny day, First session...hated it, cracked lumpy track wi weeds growing through it;)
By the afternoon, It had grown on me. Love the Bomb Hole ( emphasis on the bOmb not bUm  )
The back straight gives you time to polish your tank and clean your visor :)

Looking at the diagram I thought Snetterton was gonna be quite straight forward, I thought again.

Thanks to Dom & TP for your work. It didnt fall on deaf ears, just my arse is still clenched from Angelsey, I'll improve those times when we go back (altho my tires are near expiry).

"Being a bit of a porker"???, C'mon Matt, your as fat as Doms windscreen wipers! (rubber wire:D )

Oh yes, be advised- they were strict on noise testing on Tuesday. Mine failed so Had to be drilled and a baffle fitted (then it was still over 100db)

Good luck all!
:)

Never Been Shane, I have booked the test day on the Sat before the races with MSV. What are the facilities there in the pits. Garages/Electric/Showers/Grass/Concrete etc ?
Looks like a very fast circuit. Bit of breaking pratice in order I feel :D

Snetterton, slipstream, drafting, nuff said!! You should not have time for a cuppa when you are half an inch of someones back wheel down revitt.

Great circuit, much faster than you imagine. Ignore the straight, there are other bits that you make up all the time on!!

Go very fast into first corner, then even fast around Coram, what's the worst that could happen?
