Arggh!! F*#@! Thats what went through my mind as I bounced off my bike that was laying in the gravel! never fell off a bike before in 15 years of riding, iv'e had a few close ones trying to emulate the racers i've loved to watch for years, so I thought it was about time I slowed down, after about a year of pottering around on my suzuki gs500 bored silly i took to the track Wey Hay!! This is the new me, i am hooked, here for ever, practice this year, win the championship next year, BSB in year 3! (British superbikes, not Back Street Boys - don't you hate it when you google BSB and get that bunch of Q@~£$'S) sorted, then Year 4 maybe 'helicopter lessons'*. I am fine, a bit sore here and there but not liking having to fix the bl@~dy Bike! (*may depend on lottery win) Matt #72 p.s. not a tarmac biting virgin any more. |
Matt, you did well in the races, and good work getting the bike ready just in time. Amazing what a hammer and a roll of tape can achieve isn't it!! |
It still didn't phase you Matt. Well done mate, wish I could corner commit like you do. |

Me to Matt often takes a very tight line into the corner, flings the bike in and fires out the other side, I had a good view of this over most of the weekend and was wary of being distracted by his lines as I know what will happen if I try them. Well it did happen to Matt in theend but at least he got out in both races and bagged some decent points as well as increased the size of his spare lst to take to race meetings |
