Bodge of the day trying to make spacers for my rear wheel. As when l was at the tyre fitters, he notice a big score mark in my swinging arm :o where the nuts of the sprocket had been grinding away the swinging arm :o It must have been when l had the bearings done, must have lost the spacer on route  So i thought that l had all the bits, when l put it back together  Well for a master class in bodging, a guy at the tyre place found a piece of metal in a skip, that had the right size hole, so with the loan of a angle grinder and his vice, l ground it into shape, and l also needed another washer as a packer, they had one but the hole was to small so had to file this by hand to make it fit, but after about a hour of fettling, we had a perfect packing shims, job done :) Now all l have to do is find someone who can weld alloy, to fill in the score make, as it has gone half way through the alloy :o By the way l had perelli corsa 3's fitted, l think they should be the business :) Scrubbing in to be continued.;) |
