clutch set up..

Ive fitted a casoli ball and ramp slipper clutch to my new engine but as it was a long long while ago i removed it can anybody tell me the correct plate layout i know it has to start with a friction plate but i ended up with two plain plates at the end is this correct as it doesnt seem to engage or disengage( what ever the correct way is ) properly as it slightly crunches into first gear..

Cheers

Yeap, friction followed by dished plate, then finishing up with 2 plain plates
