Advise needed on the fitting I can fit my BIP rear light unit and hinge bracket no problem. But what about the locking clips/brackets dosen't seem to be anything to fit them too ??

Hello mate,

You need the single seat fitting bracket. This allows you to use your original seat latch but the new bracket moves it into the correct position.

You also get some new spacers with the bracket. All the other stuff should swap straight over.

Oh and like you mentioned, a single seat which is higher at the back.

I've the same problem fitting a rear mono unit. I called JHP who put together all the bracket conversion bits for me (£20) and now I'm waiting for it all to arrive.

I've been on the lookout for a suede pad for ages, and after missing loads on e-bay and on here I bit the bullet and bought a genuine Ducati item.

Standard seat £60 ish
Suede seat £100 ish

If the mono unit is not a Ducati item, then epoxying the bracket in place is probably your best bet.

Most good quality single seat units should come with the mounting tabs built into it. All you should have to do is fix, adjust and go.;)

The unit is Tecnosell / Moto Cinelli made from glass fire and carbon fibre There are two nutserts bonded in for the rear light and and two more above the rubber stops on the frame and thats it. I wondered if any fittings are fitted to the seat pad its self ?? Where are JHP I can't seem to find a web site ??
Thanks for all your help so far guys..
