...as a newcomer, i do believe i can exercise the right to ask at least one forum numpty question.

So - how can i upload a pikky for my avatar? i've looked, but failed so far in realising this important info.....

I believe only members get to do that and see the gallery.

From the top menu:

User Settings > Edit Avatar

yerrr - it's got a bit on it that says "do not use an avatar" that seems permanently set. Do i have to learn a special handshake or something?

Ah, maybe you have to be a full DSC member (ie, join the club) rather than just register on the website to do that.

okeydokey - i might initiate proceedings by popping along to the wargrave meet and stalking y'all...
