clutch thickness

Bit of a long shot but does anybody know what the total thickness of a new clutch pack is for a 2003 620 non slipper type clutch?

Mine was originally 43.47mm when I first took it apart after Mallory a couple of years ago as it was slipping at this
I rebuilt it to a pack thickness of 44.5mm and this gave me and end gap of 2mm.
I'm still using that setup without any problems

yeh mine's about the same as that and slipping, did you just fit new friction plates to get 44.5?

Nope, friction plates were OK
A couple of the steels were very heavily discoulored so these two were thrown out and instead of replacing them with similar 1.5mm thick ones I added two 2mm thick ones to give me the extra millimeter

Just add another slipper plate Tom, thats what most of us do.

Just make sure you get slipper & friction plates in alternates and not together like I did, lol
