clutch thickness Bit of a long shot but does anybody know what the total thickness of a new clutch pack is for a 2003 620 non slipper type clutch? |

Mine was originally 43.47mm when I first took it apart after Mallory a couple of years ago as it was slipping at this I rebuilt it to a pack thickness of 44.5mm and this gave me and end gap of 2mm. I'm still using that setup without any problems |
yeh mine's about the same as that and slipping, did you just fit new friction plates to get 44.5? |

Nope, friction plates were OK A couple of the steels were very heavily discoulored so these two were thrown out and instead of replacing them with similar 1.5mm thick ones I added two 2mm thick ones to give me the extra millimeter |

Just add another slipper plate Tom, thats what most of us do. Just make sure you get slipper & friction plates in alternates and not together like I did, lol Andy |

That's because you changed to fully sinthetic oil! |
or wot he said ^^^^^^^^^^^^ Andy |
