Class B DD Bike For Sale

2 Attachment(s)
Hi all,

Unfortunately my fortunes have taken a turn for the worst as my job had been made redundant. Due to an uncertain future I am forced to quit racing and sell my DD bike. Gutted but that's the way the cookie crumbles.
It's been an absolutely fantastic experience and both with the racing and all the people I have met along the way. I salute you all.

Spec is:

Race clipons
Race Supplies direct rearsets
9** Brembo M/C
99* clutch m/c
Brembo P4 calipers (Stops with the best of them even with my 15 stone weight)
Semi floating front disk
Big spindle front wheel
High Level exhaust pipe
Ohlins rear shock
900ss Oil cooler (brand new 2 years ago and fitted by Baines Racing)
Engine last serviced by Baines Racing.
Aluminium swing arm
Renthal grips
Re-sprung, re-worked front showa suspension
New throttle cable
Elliot Tacho
Race Supplies direct crash bungs
DID X Ring chain still with lots of life in it
R&G Sharks tooth
Brancato seat pad and bum stop (these cost a fortune)

The bike currently has 1098 fairings in pearlescent white with graphics adapted from Ben Bostrom L&M WSB bike. However this fairing and 916 style seat unit bear some battle scars which are defintiely repairable but I also offer:
A set of used very good condition 916 style Ricambi fairing
Used 600ss race seat unit
Brand New 916 style race seat unit
I also have some spare rear sprockets
New set of belts to be put on bike.
Spare steel swing arm
Tyres have lots of life in them

This bike has been on the podium with it’s previous rider and took me to several solid top ten finishes in 2008 season. It is as fast as any of the other top ten bikes that it has battled with, with only the riders ability and 15 stone weight slowing it down ;-). It has been a great bike and has never failed me.
I gave the bike oil and filter changes every second meeting last year. It has had fresh oil for this year and only seen three outings.

Bad bits (but not too bad) - front sub frame arms need welding back on. I had tie wrapped one of them on but the other has gone too. Should be no problem to weld.

Price is £1600
Please see supplied photos and if you go to PLJ Photo and check DD rounds for last year looking for Franco Nisco Bike 24 you can see the bike in action. It can be viewed in Ruislip Middlesex.

Cheers

Franco

NOTE: I am going to throw in a 900ss Frame with V5 for an extra £200 so all in £1800.

Sorry to hear your bad news Franco. :( I'm in a similar position with work although I'm still on full pay "termination is imminent" and the van will go with the job.

Still as they say.... "Nil Illigitemi Carborundum Descendus"

Don't let the Ba57ards grind you down.

I could do with some spare sprockets if you a selling seperately. Can you let me know what sizes you've got.

Cheers Charlie. Yep, I feel the same. I plan not to be a number anymore....;-)

As for sprockets I will see what happens with a potential buyer as I'd like to sell as a package but I will keep you in mind.

Ooh - that's my old 2006 Class B bike (Race win/lap record/3rd overall) - I wonder if "they" would let me ride it in Class B next year?

Good price too!

Hi, I have updated the original post to include the damage to the front subframe arms that hold the fairing on. They both need welding back on - not a big job at all.
In my rush to get the post out i forgot to mention it - sorry
