583 pistons
 

Called Baines racing today looking for some shells for my 620 not much luck there:mad: had a long conversation with John & we got around to the 583 piston shortage it seems like they are in a position to get some made if there's enough interest.

Maty was in there a couple of days ago talking to John about the pistons, If Nelly doesn't have any joy with the people he is talking to at the moment I'll probably pay John a visit

Better still if Nelly's on the case.

I could not find 583 pistons around anywhere last March. JHP had one that came with barrel and Ducati Bologna as well had them complete with barrels. When I called the factory first they told me they wanted 500 Euros for each pistol/barrel but where open to negotiation and best price was ~ 300 E. Finally scooter was so kind to send me 4, yes 4 583 pistons of which 2 I gave away to somebody else.
However, master Chaz, I might have 1 piston lurkirng around somewhere and I will send it to you when I find it.
Also ask Tonio: He might have one/two somewhere.
