ACPO motorcycle enforcement strategy I came across this a while ago. It might be of interest. Ray http://www.acpo.police.uk/asp/polici...gy_website.doc |
I only read the parts on number plates and tinted visors. Whilst my exhausts are legal, I do wear a tinted visor in sunny conditions and if there is any danger of being caught out in the dark I carry a clear visor. Im sure that our local police forces Hants, Dorset, Wilts take a sensible approach to visors as I have seen many police whilst out and have never been stopped nor any of my friends several are noisey. Unless you live in a less tolerant area or a damned nuisance surely these guidelines are no bother. Thanks for posting them. |

Did a quick read of it, it would appear that they forgot to send a copy to the North Wales Chief Constable. Chris:burn: |
