Ohlins rear spring rate Anyone know where to find the rear Ohlins spring rates, in particular relevence to body weight? |
Sorry no idea, but when I wanted a new spring for my SS due to over hard original, I 'phoned Maxton (Ron Williams company) who asked what weight I was and how I ride the bike, the next day a new spring arrived (good service or what) They even asked what colour my original was so that it would look the same. The bike suits my weight much better now and the suspension actually moves!!!!:sing: |

revelence to bike would also come into it due to linkage ratio, swing arm leverage etc. Best done with the bike that you want altered by getting accurate sag measurements with a know spring rate and go from there. If its a very popular bike then no doubt somebody has already done it so may be worth a call to the likes of Harris etc |
I an Ohlins spring chart somewhere , will mail it to you ! Mail bounced back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! [Edited on 18-6-2004 by Totto] |
