shock opinions

I have decided to change the shock on the DD bike to cope with my lard *rse. So far ive got it dowb to a choice between niton (£520 quid for the full race) or wilbers (around £650). Has anyone else got any other suggestions or can give me some feedback.

Opinion.. Jeeez that's almost half the cost of a whole DD Bike!

Can you not get your shock re-valve/sprung etc to suit you... I had mine and the forks well sorted for just over half that price by MCT Lowestoft.. Top guys!

Unless you know how to adjust what it is a lot of dough. I brought the cheaper Wilbers and it works just fine.

didnt some one point out that the old fronts are as light as the new ones, and the rear is the one to have? Thats what I've done

Thread on first page of Ducatisti DD section... It is based on different people and different scales. Everyone seems in agreement that the rear is about 800g lighter, but the fronts seem +/- 200g ish between both types, with no definitive answer.
