Radial Caliper Mount Conversion

2 Attachment(s)
Nearly there:)

Purchased some Moto Corse Radial Fork Bottoms, brand new off of Ebay at a nice price, also off ebay I won some Brembo Radial calipers, not the monoblock one's I would have liked, but these came from the latest BMW sports bike and had 100m hole spacing,

Forks & radial mounts where dropped off at Nelly's earlier this week and picked up today, so into the garage and a couple of hours later I had got this far.

I will be back in the garage tomorrow with a bit of luck & will be able to finish the job off, but will leave you with a couple of nearly finished pics for now.

If they are the ones from JHP i was gonna buy them before they ebayed them but they where for showa forks and wouldnt fit the forks on my bike.

Ive gotta order some direct from Moto corse in San Marino for summer. They are the latest spec but a bit more money.Bummer.

Those looks sweet and im told moto corse are probably the best quality out there for aftermarket parts like this. What brakes where you running before and how does the radial set up compare?.

Yep, they are the ones JHP put up on ebay.

I had Showa tin forks on before with P4 calipers.

Not tried them yet as I just need to connect up the brake lines & bleed them, did not manage to get it done today, so a job for another day I guess.

Well that is the brake lines attached (new copper washers & brake fluid) what a difference in the feel, feels much more posative, just need to get it out, bed the pads & discs to each other and see what they can realy do:D

The following items cost nothing as already fitted to the bike.

749/999/848/1098 Radial Brake Master Cylinder.(ebay)

Suitable brake lines (Hel)

Total cost £656, that is made up from the following :-

Moto Corse Showa Radial Fork Bottoms (brand New via JHP through Ebay)

BMW S1000RR Brembo P4 Radial Calipers complete with pads (Ebay)

748R 15mm off set discs (Steve "The Bidster")

Fitting of fork bottoms to 748R Showa Year 2000 forks (Nelly @ Cornerspeed)

Brake Fluid & Copper Washers (Italia)

Stainless Steel Caliper Mounting Bolts (New) (Ebay).

Will follow up with some more pics at the weekend
