Bike Transportation Pickle Anyone know any reliable bike-transport companies...? picking up my new steed on Fri and the missus has kindly highlighted that she doesn't want to drive back on her todd - which leaves one option. Get it picked up and delivered. Thanks in advance. Ash |
From where to where Ashley? |
5 mins from the M1 - J22 to Costa-Del-Chelmsford. Its about a 2hr drive there & back via M11 - M1. |

how about taking a mate, so she wont be alone on the drive home; cheaper and easier |
currently exploring getting hold of the missus's mother as a drivers mate - but looking for a back-up plan if the drivers mate thing goes south. most of my chelmsford buddies at work on the fri. unable to collect on the Sat as I have to go to a wedding. i've been officially warned that if i miss the wedding 'a' nut will be for sale on ebay! lol |
Pick a bike move service at random off ebay? Most will pick up a bike and deliver anywhere in the country for £100 or thereabout ... surely not far off the petrol cost these days, and less hassle with the missus! My mate uses them all the time, so if you need a recommendation just let me know. |
cool will do. |
I have used a few but the best so far is Lee Costello Transport- top guy, really good prices only cost me £130 to move my 998S from Scottish Borders to Basingstoke. He loves his dukes! email him here and tell him Jack Nash (998S) rec. him. Ta! info@leecostellotransport.co.uk I can send you his mobile number if you want |
Cool, yes please... I am having cr@p luck in finding a transport company who has actually delivered bikes, lots of sofa's and other junk - just no bikes. Little concerned that it won't be secured down to anything. subscriped to 'shiply' and 'anyvans' - all rubbbish so far |
transport all sorted :) |
