Dunlop Qualifier HR Tyres
 

Hopefully everybody will soon have theirs in time for a track outing this weekend be it Brands or Cadwell.

I picked up quite a few sets earlier for those that requested a set for Brands, just hope I can get them all there in the van along with the two bikes.

Other than the bit in the Demon Tweeks catalouge there is still very little info around about the new Dunlop Qualifier HR.
In Demon Tweeks Cat. the graph shows the HR is more orientated to trackdays than the qualifier 2

Just had a look at the web and you can now get the Dunlop Qualifier HR somewhere other than Holbeach the catch is the front will cost you £83 and the rear £97, so your looking at £180 a pair.
So thanks to Dunlop for giving us a lot lower price

Dunlop has strengthened its product offering for 2011, in both on and off road sectors, with a new member of the Sportmax Qualifier family.

Especially developed for 125cc to 400cc sports machines and Supermoto street bikes, Qualifier is now available in HR rating, with three front and two rear sizes as required by that market sector.

The new Qualifier HR utilises compounds derived from the GP Racer D211, that gives very high grip levels on these lightweight bikes, but without the heavy wear rate which might otherwise be expected. Fast handling response and superb stability are also delivered by Qualifier HR.

While I was looking at the Demon Tweeks Catalouge I noticed the Pirelli Diable Rosso has already been replaced by the Rosso 2 and is now constructed using two different compounds, maybe they were listening to some of the comments from the DD paddock

I had the GP Racers on my 848 and they are by far the best tyre I have had on it... I can't wait for some warm dry tracks!

Has Mark given a suggested starting point for the tyre pressures?

Start at 1 PSI and work you way up!

Here is the Dunlop recommendation we used at the tyre tests in November
start pressures ( cold )
Front: 2.1 bar. 31 psi
Rear: 1.9 bar 28 psi

Dunlop Quallifier Fr = 4.0kg, Rr = 5.6kg
