ACU Licences Copied from there website today - for info ACU Competition Licences/Trials Registrations Thursday March 3, 2011 All Organisers should be aware that ACU Head Office is currently experiencing a delay in the processing of ACU Competition Licences and Trials Registrations. At the meeting of the Board of Directors held today, it was agreed that 2010 Licences would be valid for a further period of one month. During the next few days, Road Race competitors applying for their first ACU licence will be processed as a priority as they do not have a 2010 licence to produce when signing on at an event and are not able to purchase a one event licence. For first time licence applicants of an Off Road discipline (excluding Trials), should you purchase a one event licence in order to participate at an event whilst waiting for your 2011 licence to be processed, the cost of the one event licence can be off set against the cost of your annual ACU licence on production of the one event licence counterfoil. It is hoped that the current back log will be cleared as quickly as possible. They took the money for it a few weeks ago |
Thanks for posting that up Andy They must be short staffed as I can't believe in the current economic climate there are any more Licence applications than they normally deal with at this time of year |
I phoned them after a week, they found it in the pile and processed it, not surprised they were well behind then and that was early feb at least they have taken action so people can race; lets hope they've told the race and trackday organisers!! |
