Oxon/Berks Meet and Rideout Sunday 3rd April 2011 Again its that time of the month and thus time the weather forecast looks quite promising So How about we repeat what we did in February but with a few more miles chucked in on some more interesting roads So meet up in Newbury at Maccy Ds for 10:30, then head over to George Whites at Swindon, from there we will head over to H-Cafe for a late lunch I'm sure I can workout a more interestiing route than the route taken in Feb Unless somebody knows of an event we should be trying to visit as we did last month with the Snells Open day |
trudi and i will be there her first ride of the year on her nonda and the 996 will have its first outing for the year :D if i sort the clutch out tomorrow |
The 996 will have to stay on the SORN while I'm doing DD and the KTM is in Pro Bike getting the stupid DataTool alarm ripped out. Srew fixing it just to catch me out again some time in the future. Im hoping they can do it tomorrow and then I can me some George White breakie. Craig |
Sorry Kev, out with Kim on his new purchase tomorrow, and been out on the bike the last 2 weekends, and up to Prescott Bike Festival next Sunday, so will have to give this one a miss....have a good one :) |

Taxed the 1100 Monster Yesterday and took it for a little spin earlier this evening It was good to be back out on it after leaving it sat in the garage for the last 4 months while I used the S2R, Started first press of the button :) |
Good to see everyone today, for the most part we managed to avoid the rain. It was nice to be out on the 1100 again and getting a chance to open up it on the run across to Swindon. Nice to see Bugssy's 916SPS back on the road and also to see Matty out on his 1098R, I think Kev would have liked to have been out on his 996SPS but that would have meant leaving Trudi behind so he opted for the Multi and when he realised how dirty it had got he was probably happy it wasn't the SPS getting that mucky. Brenda looks to be getting on really well with her 848 showing far more confidence than she ever did on her 748R. Dave (Everton) rode at the back on his RSV4, his choice, we didn't make him because he was the only non-Ducati. Can't wait for some warm dry rideouts over the next few months along with getting a few planned mods done to the M1100, must also get the 996 and one of the 998s road legal to try and keep pace with this lot Sadly no Hants guys out with us today so carrying around 12 tickets for Prescott with nobody to give them to so they could be distributed at Loomies on Wednesday |
must have been the first time in years none of us made it.. I was out practising my mono action yesterday for next month ;) |
