Castle Combe... 3 laps to qualify?
 

Am I reading this right? Point 11 on the "New ERA MCC Castle Combe Ducati Day" 3rd Sept it says:

Practice: From 8:45 to 11:20. 3 Laps to qualify Grid positions will be by timed practice.

Generous?!

Theres a 10 minute slot for free practice and 10 minute slot for qualifying. In theory you could probably squeeze 6-7laps in that time so maybe it means you have to do 3 laps to qualify?

I saw there was a 10 minute time slot but I thought this might be less the time getting the last lot off the track and us going.

Hope that it is closer to 6 as 3 would be a bit brief!

Yep i think it means you need to do a minimum of three laps to qualify, so if you only do three laps your fasted time will be your qualifying time, if you do more than three then your fastest lap is your qualifying lap, if you do less than three then your on the back of the grid.

agree; min 3 laps to qualify, hence I didnt at Anglesey as I crash on lap 2

Yes guys, you need to do 3 laps to qualify. session will be longer than just 3 laps.

It will probably only be 3 laps by the time we get round Oulton and Cadwell though!
