Spyball Alarm Issue

Hi,

Can anyone help with a problem that has cropped up on my Spyball alarm that is fitted to my 996.

The alarm is always in maintenance mode (so its not armed) and i never arm it.

Cleaned the bike and was just about to put it away and i heard a 'buzzing' sound coming from the unit. Turned the ignition on and it stopped (didn't try to start the bike as it was late and would have been antisocial!). Turned it off again and it started buzzing again. In the end i disconnected the battery to stop it, but i'll need to connect it up again sometime :-0

If water from the cleaning caused the issue then it may well do the same in the wet. I'll check later in the week when its fully dry what happens when i connect the battery again

Any ideas?

Cheers
Simon
