Selling my 1098S - revert to standard or sell as is?

Hello All,
I have a '07 1098S with 5.5K miles, full DSH etc that has many extras on it ( subframe, rearsets, top yoke, clip ons, 70mm polished full termi system, DP seat, DP hugger, full Xerox bodywork along with the original stuff , integrated indicator/tail lights, filler cap, DP screen, DP gold chain and sprockets, DP clutch pressure plate, open clutch cover.. the list goes on ). All in all I think there are receipts for about £5.5k of extra bits and pieces.
The question is, should I strip all the parts off and revert the bike to standard to sell it and then sell the parts individually or try and sell it as it is? Any thoughts gratefully considered!

Regards,
Ben

Rule of thumb says that you'll never get as much for a bike with extras as you would for selling the bike and the extras separately!

However, it depends on how much time and effort it will cost you to get the extras off the bike.

Also, having some extras on the bike might persuade someone to buy yours over a bike that doesn't have the extras on.

I would be tempted to list the extras and then a price with and a price without the extras included - make sure you put the cheapest price first as well!!

Got to agree with Ant on that, you never get back what you paid for extras when selling your bike with them on as buyers will always look for a bargin, ie lower price. put the bike back to standard and price it, then put a list of all the goodies you have for it with seperate prices for each part, or simply list them on ebay.
