Interesting choice, think you need more details.

Looks like mechanical drive, IF the cables shown are simply for the backlighting inside the drive. If so, then maybe, its just getting the mechanical ratio correct and a cable made to suit.

Its mechanical, says the ratio is 2 - 1 on the ad, whatever that means

Different bikes use different ratios to calculate the speed.
You need to make sure that the speedo ratio matches your bike otherwise it won't read the correct speed!
You'll need to do some investigation to find out what Ducati use (chances are they're all the same!) and buy the speedo with the correct ratio.
