Speedbleeders Anyone used these before? I think Demon Tweeks sell them I've been given one (really useful quantity!), and am thinking about fitting it to the rear caliper, since that seems to need a regular bleed as it seems to get more bubbles than a deep sea diver. the website's full of self adoration, but real world experiences are preferred to the websites quotes. If they're good I'll buy some... http://www.speedbleeder.com Jason [Edited on 30-6-2004 by Mr_S] |
In answer to my own question, I fitted the one I had to the rear caliper, and It's bl@@dy marvellous, bleeding the system through is an absolute breeze, and without any need to mess about with opening and closing the bleeder. So good in fact, I've ordered some for the fronts. ( A massive £15 for Stainless Steel ones delivered) If anyone knows what size the clutch bleeder is (it looks smaller) let me know, as I'll do that as well. |
I have never used these on a bike but i do remember many years ago fitting this type of device to a car with superb results.I will check out Demon Tweeks cat. |
Order them direct instead, the stainless steel ones from the US work out cheaper than the standard ones from DT's, even with postage :D |
