Maybe he needed to keep his hand on the clutch and couldnt therefore wave to you?

may have had 101 reasons but point taken.

I often find that when i'm filtering at slowish speeds i need to be on and off the clutch all the time. I always try and wave to cars who move over to let jm through but its not always possible. If Lynns on the back then i get her to do it for me!!:D
