just thought id tell you all, i see 1 yesterday then had the pleasure of being on its tail for a ride this evening, and ive got to say its bl**dy awesome, sounds mean, and it goes like stink!! it was an S model to and the ohlins setup is very trick indeed, but until next year im sticking to my 848!!!

those who have ordered have got a lot to look forward to :)

Just so long as you don't ride it before me....

saw my first complete one (ie not Rapido's race one in peices!) on Sun at OYB, very small and compact and dont think it would look any different next to a 125 it seemed so petite

never ridden an 1198 or 1098, own the best anyway ;) but think I will be having a go on Snells demo for this. Its only money......

ill try not to have a go before you, but its too tempting lol!!! anyway i cant afford 1 at the minute, i broked my lid today 400 quid for a new 1 not entirely happy with myself, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh :(

thanks mate, oh and your lid fits me just fine, and i doubt they will let me have a go lol!! to risky apparently!!

Anyone got any info on various dealers' excesses on demos? You'd be pardoned for thinking that all main dealers had the same policy, but I've heard it said there are significant variations, eg some £1000, some double that - worth checking the small print.
