Akrapovic Exhaust or Termignoni?

I am due to pick up my new 749 at the weekend, and was looking to have the Termignoni Exhaust fitted as well.
But on investigation, I have been told that the ECU that comes with the Termis, is far from perfect.
I have been told that Akrapovic do a race system for the 999, and a power comander is the way to go.
Does anyone have any advice on which is the way to go??
Not to sure on how much the Akrapovics are though.

Cheers
Peter G

U know it makes sense.

one swallow doesnt make a summer. i think bikes with termi's (the can of choice) have done ok in the past.

Termis, they work very closely with Ducati, both as oe equipement & performance parts!!

Didn't someone confess that the Arrows cans used on the race bikes were nothing more than Termis with Arrows badges on them because they paid the sponsorship money?

My standard Ducati cans are made by Arrow.

Ducati Kip
Just been speaking to a local Duke dealer.
I know he will be biased towards the Termis, but he says that the powercomander is a load of cr@p.
He was saying that they get a lot of bikes refered to him to sort out, with power comander.
My mind is set on Termis, but dealer won,t fit until after first service.

Peter - don't forget the warranty issue. Only aftermarket exhausts agreed by Ducati and fitted by one of their authorised dealers will keep it intact.

Yes, Termis it is. I will just have to wait the 600 miles.
At least I should notice a difference, after riding with the standard exhaust for 600 miles.

Having not heard the Termis, do they really make a difference, as I don,t want to be dissapointed.

Its all well saying termi or exhaust, but what size/ style.
Are you sticking with the asymetric, ie pipe and can, or going for bigger 54/57mm?
