Hi all,

KILLSPILLS ROAD SAFETY RALLY – LONDON 11am Saturday 11th SEPTEMBER 2004

The Road Users Campaign To Kill diesel Spills (KillSpills) are holding what is hoped to be one of the biggest road safety motorcycle rallys ever seen in London on the 11th September 2004. The event will start from the Ace Café with the bikes meeting there at 11am. The Metropolitan Police will provide an escort for the rally to the Palace of Westminster and the KillSpills team will hand in their petition to Number 10 together with their report into diesel spills at 14.00 hours.

So join the KillSpills team as they ride through central London, with 1,000 bikes, from the Ace Café to the Palace of Westminster, with an escort kindly provided by the Metropolitan Police.

Dear Fellow supporters,

The KillSpills team have put a lot of effort into getting this far, just to recap,

We have met twice with Fast Bikes, presented to the All Party Parliamentary Group for Motorcycling, met with the Met Police, Got Asda, Tesco, Exel, Total, Iveco, Mercedes Benz, MAG, BMF, RAC Foundation, FTA, FON, ROSPA, IAM Ken Livingstone, Carl Fogarty, to name but a few supporting us. Plus all the bike manufacturers on mass via MCI and fast Bikes Two Wheels only, Bike MCN RiDE.

BUT the thing is, despite all the hard work Dazbike the team, and me we could not have got to this stage without the help, advice, support of everyone involved.

You see, even a post that says well-done guys, keep it up, keeps us going. There have been times when we have thought about throwing in the towel, we have not told you about the knock backs we have received, but your unfailing encouragement has got us through.

You see the KillSpills team, cannot let down our fellow bikers. We can’t walk away from this.

So our final request is that you join us to make history. Come and be part of the largest motorcycle rally in London EVER!

There will be hundreds of bikes there of all shapes and sizes and all are more than welcome.
