just spent a day on the other side...

...and what a nice bunch of blokes/chicks they are!

Spent last night and most of today (well, until lunchtime but thats another story:mad:) with the DOC guys and, prepare yourself some of you, they dont have two heads or push over bikles with a DSC sticker on them!!

Unfortunately Cadwell was not as nice, with torrential rain making me stay away except 1 session! Big thanks to Wilf at Motorapido for offering me his wets-shod 998 for a rainy play

So, maybe a joint trackday would not be too bad:puzzled:

I was fed up that I was going to miss it since I had to work-not so fed up now I know the weather was crap.
I have already floated the idea of a joint day, in fact DOC have been invited to our Rockingham day, and were invited to our Cadwell day as well. I used to be a member as did most of the gang who started this club.

Like quite a few DSC members I too was a DOC member. Most of them right nice folks but sadly a few that were so far up themselves it wasn't true. Not being sexist, but it seemed to be mosty the wimin that had attitude.

I've done the DoC trackday a couple of times - they put a good day together - good club too.;)

Bradders,

Did the boys from MotoRapido bring their F02 engined 999 along?

Steve mentioned that they may tag along to Rockingham and bring it along too, it's a bit nice even though it's built around an S not an R..

It's history Paul, so best left that way, move on etc. etc.
;)

Jason - yes, but in current form. Steve is building an RS engine for it and thats still on the bench! He nearly binned it on the mountain tho, monster wheely followed by rear wheel stepping out at the same time - oh how we laughed!!!

Roy - hopefully see you Sunday, dependent on weather and dadding duties
