Single seat
 

Hi All,

Ok had my bike a few months now (02 748, red of course) and wan't to convert it to a single seater, can anyone tell me whats the easiest and cheapest way to do this? is there a cover that just replaces the rear seat ? has anyone got one to sell etc.

I've seen a few complete units go through Ebay for around £300

Ducati do a complete conversion kit £££££

I got all the bits together via ebay except the brackets (dealer) and did the whole thing for under £200.

The seat pads don't come cheap and aren't much cheaper second hand.
You need a different bracket and some spaces to fit a mono unit to a bip subframe as well.

There are single seat converters around - I had a Casoli one but changed it for a genuine DP one. Can't remember the part number, but it's in the catalogue.

I looked at single seat units for ages but got the DP convereter for £85 in the end. It's not as nice as having a proper single seat unit but it's better than before and a cheapish option
