Oil cooler line leak
 

Hiya,

The RHS oil-cooler connection took a bit of a knock (long story) on my '98 916 and now leaks oil. Unscrewing the 17mm connector from the 19mm black connector on the cooler itself reveals a couple of cracks in seat of the 17mm end. The 17mm end is on a short rigid pipe permanently attached to the flexible pipe - does this mean a whole new pipe is needed?

Also, have heard anecdotally that these lines can give trouble when old. Would it be worth replacing both perhaps?
