Mono Conversion. Is The ECU The Same????
 

I have a 749 mono and a 999 Bp.

My question is can I simply swap over the relevant parts.
I understand that the ECU also needs to be changed as the mono does not have the seat lock, and the keys match the ECU.

Is the 749 ECU the same as the 999?

Eh?what do want to change the ECU for if you are only changing seats and subframes?
As far as I know the ECU will not work on another bike if it has been used.Summat to do with the chips in the keys,ignition and clocks.
Just get a blank key cut for the seat lock,or use the "finger on the cable" trick.
