New to all this 2 Thanks for all the advice, I did not deliberately ignore the advice "you will be better to buy a race prepared bike" but things have worked out differently. I have now aquired a 600ss (taxed, tested and ready for the road), so my learning curve about preparing a bike for racing is about to sharply increase! Anyway, I have seen the link with contacts for suppliers but once again, especially those who have gone down the 600ss route, your advice on where to start and who to go to would be much appreciated. |

It's probably the more expensive route turning a road bike into race bike but you'll get what you want in the end and know what you have done - hopefully correctly too! I did this to a 620 ss and it's been a real thrill. Forget buying everything from Demon Tweeks though! The forum will help you there are loads of good guys on here. Enjoy DD. it's cool. |
