ScottyB what happened to the bike drop?

Was curious to see what the outcome of your bike being dropped on Mr Knobheads driveway?

... and whether you needed any professional services that were offered in the last thread? :ninja:

Hi TP.

**** is not paying up so i stuck the bill on my Mastercard. £518 and a few pennies.

I am off back to the rigs on Tuesday for 2 weeks so when i return if there is no joy i am going straight in to Stirling Court to raise a small claim against him. I know i may not ever get the money but at least if he does not play ball he will have a CCJ against him.

I have been considering all the offers of help and planning the best way to play it. Those that know me will agree that he is in for a serious kicking at the very least and his pride and joy taken off the road for weeks on end to see how he likes it!!!

All this will happen when i am sat out in the North sea of course with a perfect alibi;)

Excellent, very good.

True justice :D

Damage to Ducati 749 Dark 01/08/04

Dear Pete,

It is now 4 weeks since you sat on my new motorcycle and subsequently dropped it causing damage to the sum of £518.47

As you have made no efforts to reimburse me for the damage even in instalments you leave me no further option but to pursue the matter through the small claims court.

As a gesture of goodwill I am prepared to offer you a further 14 days to contact me and resolve the matter, before proceeding as planned.

I am disappointed that as a family member you have made no effort to contact me and sort this matter out without the need for it escalating.

For your info I have paid the repair bill and copies of the invoice and credit card receipt are enclosed for your information. Also the damaged parts have been returned and are available for your inspection if required.

Should the matter proceed as far as court you will leave me no option but to claim for my court costs and the interest on my credit card to ensure I am not out of pocket. I am sure this will not be necessary.

I am prepared to accept a monthly payment, which is agreeable to both parties in order to settle the matter, and look forward to your proposal without delay.

Regards

Scott

What do you think peeps, it was really hard trying to keep a clear head writing this and remain calm.

Any feedback before i post it appreciated.

Scotty,

That's champion buddy.

Now you just need to tie it round a half brick and launch it through his living room window!

Good luck mate, I hope it all pans out as you wish.

Don't work too hard! When are you back on shore again?

Cheers!

Scott
