The only guaranteed way is to contact the factory directly.You can do this over email to:
contact_us@ducati.com They will need to see proof of your ownership, usually in the form of a picture/scan of the official registration document for your country, showing your name and the bike details.
If they have any history - for example if it was a race bike, or a special edition - then they can confirm this, but otherwise they may not have many records given the age!
