A later OEM Brembo 320mm disk weighs a lot less than the original disks the SS bikes use. In terms of a percentage increase of the combined wheel, original brake and tyre this is very minimal, but the gain in braking power is substantial.

As they say in racing, you need to be either on the gas or on the brakes - if you're not then you're not doing it right.
